Job description:

As a Platform Engineer Cloud, you will contribute to and implement the evolution of SDX’s Cloud and SRE strategy. Working closely with the Software Engineering and the IT-Operation teams, you will build and operate new cloud features, act as an advisor for best practices and state-of-the-art techniques, and support the teams in building out new capabilities for deploying and operating their services. Using your strong technical skills, you bridge the gaps between Dev and Ops.

 

What You Will Do

• work as part of a team of highly skilled platform engineers and SREs
• build new features and capabilities for our customers
• own, maintain and operate services within our cloud platform
• ​​​​​​collaborate with our Software Engineering teams on cloud adoption and operations
• work closely with our solution architects and senior engineers on designs of new services

  What You Bring

• 5+ years of work experience in the fields of Cloud Native Engineering or IT-Operations with focus on cloud technologies
• rock-solid know how in Microsoft Azure (additional public cloud experience welcome)
• proven, multi-year track record of working along DevOps principles & best practices
• an "automation-first" approach in how you build and operate services
• excellent communication skills both in written and spoken form
