Job description:

We are looking for an FX operations settlement specialist to join the BME FX Settlement Services team. We are launching an FX trading electronic management system, linked to a Payment versus Payment platform, to provide financial institutions with the full FX operations value chain. As part of BME FX team, you will be part of an innovative project where you can develop your skills and be involved in the future evolution of Forex trading and settlement.

 

 

What You Will Do

• operate FXS, our payment system, for secure FX settlements, and support the evolution and improvement of the settlement platform
• support the casuistry of the different currencies in settlement D + 2 and D
• contribute to solving any incidents on payments, for not complying with the cut-offs, the settlement in CLS, the parameterization of Calypso and / or other systems used by the participants
• manage and contribute to all related tasks of the area

  What You Bring

• bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration or related fields
• experience in the area of Capital Markets and payments
• experience in currency settlement in the back-office of banking sector
• valuable to know Swift messaging and back-middle-offices systems
• good planning and organizational skills, having as well conceptual and analytical capabilities
• effective oral and written communication skills in business English
