Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Specialist to join our team. In this role, the individual will be responsible for managing billing operations for our introducing broker business, which clears through multiple clearing Firms. Individual will work closely with the operations, compliance, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely billing in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly invoices for introducing broker clients, including commission, clearing, and other fees;

• Reconcile billing records with clearing firm statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Monitor and track customer payments to ensure timely receipt and resolve any payment-related issues.

• Respond to billing inquiries from introducing broker clients and internal stakeholders.

• Assist with the development and implementation of billing policies and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to billing and revenue recognition, including FINRA, SEC, and state regulations.

• Collaborate with the compliance and legal teams to maintain and update client billing agreements in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Work with the finance team to prepare and analyze revenue and billing reports.

• Collaborate with other teams to streamline and improve the billing process.

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to introducing broker billing requirements and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Minimum licensing requirement SIE & S99.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in introducing broker billing or a similar role, with a strong understanding of clearing firm platforms.

• Strong knowledge of introducing broker billing regulations and requirements, including FINRA and SEC rules.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software programs.
