Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Services, LLC seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst in Princeton, New Jersey.

Work You’ll Do

Develop, modify, and execute software test plans (manually and/or automatically) based on defined requirements and end user experiences. Perform detailed data validation to ensure the accuracy of data mappings, data queries, and load scripts. Analyze and write test standards and procedures. Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and/or modification of software. Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action. Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status and report metrics to the project team. Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvement and integrate them into business processes to address user expectations and the needs of the business. Provide research and analysis of business processes or system issues related to production errors and user experience. Assist in test identification setup and data setup preparation for User Acceptance Testing and implement and maintain internal test utilities and tools utilized for quality efforts. Provide support to the client by working with the project team in reviewing errors and recommending solutions to problems or other opportunities. Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems. Conduct Functional, System and Regression testing during various phases of the delivery cycle. Utilize experience with Design automation scripts, scan and design modules, test data configuration using TDM automation scripts execution and debugging using TRICENTIS TOSCA; Perform API testing by writing API requests in Postman; Test Management & defect tracking through Microsoft Azure DevOps, and HP-ALM/QC; Interface with Product Owners/ BSA/ Tech Lead to review software requirements, product backlog, epics, user stories, define use cases, and business scenarios; Create, design and scan modules using TBOX engine and Classic engine for Desktop, UI, API, and Mobile applications; Develop Test Plans, Test Strategies, Test Scripts, and Acceptance Criteria and Contribute to all phases of application development life cycle.

Requirements

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer and Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field and three (3) years of experience in Quality Assurance, Test Engineer or related occupation.


Special Requirements: Must have included three (3) years of experience in the following special skills:

  • Design automation scripts, scan and design modules, test data configuration using TDM automation scripts execution and debugging using TRICENTIS TOSCA
  • Perform API testing by writing API requests in Postman
  • Test Management & defect tracking through Microsoft Azure DevOps, and HP-ALM/QC
  • Interface with Product Owners/ BSA/ Tech Lead to review software requirements, product backlog, epics, user stories, define use cases, and business scenarios
  • Create, design and scan modules using TBOX engine and Classic engine for Desktop, UI, API, and Mobile applications
  • Develop Test Plans, Test Strategies, Test Scripts, and Acceptance Criteria and Contribute to all phases of application development life cycle
  • Work from home/telecommuting allowed within commutable distance
