Deloitte & Touche LLP seeks an Audit & Assurance ARA Manager in San Francisco, CA.
Work You’ll Do
Set and monitor budgets. Schedule advisory engagements. Draft and assist with the delivery of proposals for engagements .Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple advisory engagements including legal, regulatory, and accounting issues that arise during the engagement. Provide supervision of staff and manage client services. Prepare advisory engagement strategy and business plans. Select staff and assign workloads. Develop and motivate engagement staff. Provide counseling and career guidance. Exercise control and discretionary decision-making in establishing the most advantageous course of action for the successful management of each advisory engagement. Provide leadership in the timely delivery of quality services. Will commute within the San Francisco, CA area to consult with clients concerning the above job duties.

Requirements
- Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
- Five years of accounting and auditing experience.
- Experience must include five years of:
- Providing technical accounting advice, preparing detailed calculations, and managing projects;
- Performing technical accounting research and preparing technical memos;
- Assisting clients in preparing for and completing audits, and/or liaising with the auditors;
- Interacting directly with senior management of the clients to discuss auditing issue resolution and continuity;
- Processing data and ensuring data quality relative to technical accounting; and
- Providing decision support for technical accounting conclusions based on data analytics.
- Experience must include three years of:
- Supervising and reviewing the work of audit teams both on site and overseas;
- Performing audits under Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) auditing standards, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX); and
- Performing analytics on data procured from client’s books and records utilizing SQL, Power Query, Alteryx, and Tableau.
- Less than 10% travel outside of normal commuting distance.
- Salary: $127,442.00 - $202,800.00/year;
