Work You’ll Do

Support client service delivery for our Advantaged Client Portfolio engagements. Provide marketplace perspectives to client engagement teams, and streamline deliver and client support services. Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and trainings across teams. Liaise with client stakeholders and provide thought leadership for audit strategies. Support the broader audit practice and clients to improve overall audit services within the organization. Implement succession strategies, including execution of succession processes and strategic priorities. Perform analysis of succession results for various purposes, including leadership reporting. Respond to real-time requests and projects from leadership and partners in the field. Prepare templates and customized materials for rotation and tracking of candidates. Support labs for audit committees to define priorities for lab participants and help develop action plans. Assist in responding to requests from teams and leaders related to tools, resources, and thought leadership. Plan and execute development programs to target high performers for enhancement of leadership skills. Contribute to governance-related thought leadership, including audit committee briefs, proxy analysis, audit committee resource guides, and audit committee surveys. Serve as a national resource for client service partners and engagement teams. Develop and share tools, information, and leading practices to support engagement teams in the delivery of audit solutions. Will commute within the Atlanta, Georgia area to consult with clients concerning the above job duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
  • One year of accounting and auditing experience.
  • Experience must include one year of:
    • Performing audits under Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) auditing standards, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and performing US GAAP accounting research using Accounting Standard Codification (ASC);
    • Utilizing audit software, including engagement management software, to perform tracking and forecasting for audit engagements;
    • Designing, implementing, and assessing deficiencies of internal controls, and testing controls in accordance with AICPA and SOX standards;
    • Utilizing advanced data analytics tools, including Excel, Tableau, and Power BI;
    • Interacting directly with senior management of the audit team and audit clients to discuss auditing findings, issues, and resolution;
    • Mentoring and coaching junior staff;
    • Preparing financial statement reports, analysis, and disclosures and performing analytics on financial statements and analyzing financial ratios;
    • Testing and evaluating the design, implementation, and operating effectiveness of company's controls under the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO) framework; and
    • Performing substantive testing on complex areas of clients' balance sheets and income statements.
  • Less than 10% travel outside of normal commuting distance.
