Deloitte Tax LLP seeks a Software Engineer, Manager in Dallas, TX.
Work You’ll Do
Responsible for the design, analysis, development, implementation, and deployment of new data driven web based applications, and providing support for existing systems. Lead a team of developers to deliver end-to-end web solutions for moderate to complex projects in a fast-paced environment. Supervise and mentor senior and staff team members. Develop and maintain the software framework and services using the .NET framework and Microsoft technologies. Interact with business analyst/client(s) to understand business problems being addressed. Review project requirements and estimate the necessary time-to-completion. Create unit test plans and scenarios for development unit testing. Carry out code reviews and unit testing of new development. Document new developments, procedures or test plans as needed. Interact with other development teams in an effort to ensure a consistent, uniform approach to software development. Follow software development best practices to maximize the predictability and success of projects. Prepare technical design documents using enterprise standard documentation tools. Deploy all integration artifacts to testing and production environments.

Requirements
- Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
- Five years of experience performing software development using C#, ASP.NET, and MS SQL Server.
- Experience must include five years of:
- Conducting gap and impact analysis of the existing and planned applications and assessing whether applications are properly aligned with business strategies;
- Establishing Software Development Lifecycles and methodologies, including agile, scrum, iterative, and waterfall, using blended resources, and identifying, debugging, and resolving technical issues;
- Performing full stack web development using ASP.NET MVC, jQuery, AJAX, Angular JS, C#, Entity framework, and SQL Server;
- Designing, coding, and testing T-SQL programming, including complex queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views; and
- Developing solutions using SQL Server, SSAS, and SSIS, and leveraging SQL Server Profiler and Data Tuning Advisor.
- Experience must include two years of:
- Designing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines to enable code releases to multiple environments;
- Utilizing Microsoft PowerShell scripting to automate deployment and database validation;
- Developing rich web user interface using CSS3, HTML 5, jQuery UI, and Kendo UI;
- Performing object-oriented programming in .NET and utilizing source control systems, including TFS and Git; and
- Designing and implementing web application infrastructures using Windows servers, web servers, firewalls, and load balancers.
