AMS/Operate services act as an extension to client’s organizations by bringing deep capabilities in advising, maintaining and enhancing technologies to serve alongside client teams to deliver insights across flexible economic models that align cost to consumption, delivery to realized outcomes and engagement accountability to a truly collaborative partnership.
Work you’ll do
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing Calypso application lifecycle including green field implementations, legacy system conversions to Calypso, version upgrades, enhancements, modifications, etc.
- Design, develop, and integrate custom modules in Calypso
- Lead, plan, and execute Calypso upgrades as per Calypso’s release schedules
- Perform system re-engineering and data migration and integration
- Perform assessment, tuning, fixing and help in resolving critical issues in the application
Qualifications
Required:
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience in Capital Markets
- 4+ years of Calypso Platform experience including Calypso v14 to v16 upgrades
- 8+ years of experience delivering transformation projects using Agile practice
- Client facing consulting experience
- Travel up to 25% based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need of sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred:
- Experience combining analysis, design, development, and implementation of large-scale Java systems
- Experience in interfacing with client technology and business teams
- Pre-Sales experience
- Understanding of Exchange Traded and Over the Counter derivatives instruments
- Understanding of trade lifecycles across FO, MO, BO
- Understanding of Calypso APIs and integration methodology with Data lakes, Risk management systems, ERP systems, Market data providers
- Experienced in customizing Calypso, adding new functionalities, and writing and adding Workflow rules
- Advanced degree; MBA, CPA or Finance degree
- Experience in configuring accounting rules within Calypso and integration with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Workday
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 168,000 to $280,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
