Work you’ll do

Deloitte is looking for looking for a strong grants management practitioner to support the application review process for a large, complex grant program. The Grants Case Management Specialist will be responsible for tracking and monitoring grants, reviewing submissions, coordinating technical assistance delivery, tracking state-by-state statuses, risks, and issues, facilitating biweekly regional meetings.

Ideal candidates will have strong project management skills and be highly organized with great attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills (this is a highly client-facing role, working with 5-10 clients on a day-to-day basis), and expert PowerPoint skills. Candidates should be process-oriented, able to work effectively in a matrixed organization, and navigate ambiguity well. Previous experience directly supporting senior-level clients is preferred. Prior grants experience is preferred, but not required.

Key capabilities include program management (e.g., maintain systems to communicate key pre-award milestones, prioritize tasks, elevate risks, facilitate meetings, facilitate decision-making, proactive cross-program collaboration and communication), grants management, and case management.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • 2+ years of experience in delivering grants management or related services
  • 2+ years of experience with case management
  • 2+ years of experience in project or program management including team comms, risk management, and cross-functional integration
  • Knowledge and experience with federal and/or state grants management; ideally supporting the execution and operations of grant programs, including post-award processes (e.g., monitoring, risk assessment)

Preferred:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Case Management Services, Grants Management, Process Management, Meeting and Workshop Facilitation
