Work you'll do:
- Oversee program workstreams and be able to synthesize status/needs to communicate key milestones at the week/month/quarterly level
- Maintain systems to flag, prioritize, and address risks (program, grants admin, operational) and produce related deliverables as requested
- Serve as the primary Deloitte relationship for the Client and provide support to the West Coast based team as requested
- Grants Management
- Stand-Up pre-award processes, frameworks, and teams, leveraging current program collateral and systems, to prepare for a Fall/Winter 2023 application deadline
- Develop a level of expertise on TBCP program mission, requirements, processes, and objectives to facilitate award and oversight efficiency
- Maintain strong internal reporting and tracking systems to ensure Departmental and programmatic performance and compliance
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Proactive communications across program and functional teams (Digital Equity, Connecting Minority Communities, etc.)
- Convene groups (e.g., grants admin, technology, program) to drive and confirm key program decisions
- Decision Support & Facilitation
- Be prepared to become informed to develop options/arguments to support key decision-making to overcome challenges that are bound by pre-existing regulatory and dept/program frameworks
- Support clients to arrive at critical program/operating model decisions

We help our clients define future state visions, develop strategic roadmaps, establish governance infrastructure, operationalize processes, measure and monitor performance, innovate through technology, and deliver quality program outcomes in an expedited, cost effective and compliant manner. Together we create more resilient communities and responsive ecosystems through incident action planning, grant risk assessments, improving grant processes and operations, future and contingency planning, and data analytics.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
- 8 years of experience with:
- Program management – understanding how technical assistance, communications, tech products, etc. supports program strategy
- Grants administration – working knowledge of pre-award and post-award
- SharePoint – Application and application data will be collected and processed in SharePoint
Preferred:
- Communications– written: ability to quickly drive consensus and path forward for multiple stakeholders; oral: able to manage clients, set shared goals and north stars, able to pivot, where needed.
- Project and risk management – strong communicator with ability to continuously update and track program and project milestones, identify and address operational and programmatic risks; develop detailed program roadmaps and project plans with clear dependencies within program and cross-program
- Grants management – knowledge and experience with federal and/or state grants management; ideally has led or supported execution and operations of grant programs, including application review, grantee onboarding, risk assessments, monitoring and oversight and financial and performance reporting.
- Reporting and dashboarding – Operational: strong at developing and maintaining internal and communication structures for status on grant, program milestones; partner with technology team to leverage CRM, SharePoint, Excel, PPT, and other custom tools as required Strategic: define key success metrics for program, develop solutions to report/display outputs for internal and external audiences
- Cross-functional integration – continuous integration across programs , and functions (TA, technology, policy, dashboarding, etc.). Ability to manage staff and integrate across shared resources/teams (TA, Tech, etc.)
- Process design and operations – develop detailed SOPs for critical processes, including grants administration (pre-award, post-award), and other key functions (waivers, grants admin) critical to program success; include client training and development to implement SOPs
- Org and operating model (design, scaling) – operationalize tiered support model and support cross-functional integration; continue to refine/develop delivery model
- Program and logic model – able to prioritize and organize program activities in terms of inputs, outputs and outcomes
- Technology planning – coordinate with Deloitte Tech Team to manage product roadmap, manage requirements
