Deloitte Operate Tax Services is looking for a well-organized and detail-oriented individual to support our growing practice.
Work you’ll do:
As a Paraprofessional on the operate team, you will work with teams to support client engagements with timely and quality compliance services. Job responsibilities will include the following:
Ongoing Work:
- Manage communications plan and draft communications
- Compliance tracking and reporting
- Resource management support (reporting, onboarding, staffing schedules/discussions, etc.)
- Foster teaming and recognition (coordinate with talent on team analysis, communications, etc.)
- Regularly perform a broad range of confidential administrative activities including revenue reporting, firm growth, staffing/resource management, etc., requiring a high level of discretion
- Support overall team morale by planning and coordinating various activities (team celebrations, all hands meetings, etc.)
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a professional services organization
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, law, business administration, economics, or related field
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with project management
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Ability to work overtime of up to 25% or as required
- One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
- If not CPA eligible:
- Licensed Attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Other- Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) may also be acceptable depending on the specific role and business approval
Preferred
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Detail oriented, organized and exercises good judgment
- Ability to interact with all levels within a complex organization
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $49,700 to $92,300.
