Sales Director - APAC

Eventus, the market leader in state-of-the-art enterprise trade surveillance software, is seeking a driven hunter to join our APAC team. As regional Sales Director, you’ll be responsible for developing pipeline, seeking out new opportunities, and growing revenue. The ideal candidate will be a creative self-starter with an analytical approach to new business sales. We are looking for an innovative thinker, able to conceptualize and execute creative ideas to drive the business forward. We are seeking applicants with capital markets experience, particularly in trading or market technology. Knowledge of regional regulations would be advantageous as we provide regulatory solutions to some of the world’s largest trading firms and exchanges. The ideal candidate would set themselves apart by also having enterprise SaaS software experience.

Job Duties
• Meet/exceed revenue growth targets within APAC
• Develop sales strategies and target lists to meet regional goals
• Collaborate with colleagues across the global revenue team on enterprise prospects
• Provide feedback to Product Management on regional system requirements and enhancements
• Maintain and expand the company’s CRM
• Support marketing efforts at trade shows, exhibits, and other events
• Effectively communicate the Eventus value proposition
• Understand and interpret customer requirements to deliver clear/articulate proposals
• Manage complex contract negotiations and liaison with the Legal team
• Develop and maintain key account plans, identifying opportunities, strategic drivers, key stakeholders and buying processes
• Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings

• Self-motivated, with tenacious energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
• Ability to demonstrate a strong knowledge and experience of sales principles, methods and techniques
• Exposure to global equities, equity options, futures, FX, Fixed Income and/or Digital Assets
• 10+ years of enterprise and/or SaaS sales in financial markets
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a combination of education and capital markets experience
• Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent collaborator, with an ability to work with virtual teams
• Experience building successful relationships and negotiating with business leaders including C-Suite
• Skilled at working with technical teams through complex solution sales
• Good understanding of market technology
• Ability to regularly travel and attend sales events or exhibits
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and work ethic
• Experience with CRM software
