As a part of this team, you will play a role in the success of FNBO and the experience for our customers! In this role you will assist in reviewing account information and determining the proper actions needed. You will work within our Credit Card Recovery and Collections Administration department specifically working with accounts that have been placed out with an agency for recovery, filed bankruptcy or have passed away working with estates.

Candidates for this role are not required to have previous experience in collections work as we are not making outbound collection calls. We are looking for someone who is ready to learn something new and can be part of a team! Your day to day will be generally non-customer facing operational work following standard process’ and procedures with some inbound calls to assist customers.

Schedule is 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday
Pay will start at $18.00/hr. (prior experience will be considered)
This role will work on-site at the First National Tower

About This Role:

Responsibilities:

Recovery

  • Working with outside agencies that are working on behalf of FNBO assisting with questions
  • Some inbound calls assisting customers with questions on their charged off account
  • Data entry of payments received and movement of accounts
  • Reviewing mail that comes into the department taking appropriate action per procedures

Bankruptcy / Deceased

  • Work through incoming notifications from various sources
  • Review and evaluate account matters to determine proper next steps
  • Filing claims through our claim portal
  • Status accounts within our internal systems based on the notifications received
  • Load accounts into our estate portal so the system starts looking for estates
  • Provide appropriate documentation to our agencies that are working our deceased accounts

Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reading, mathematical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work history
  • PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and typing skills

Desired:

  • Previous experience in operations, credit card and/or banking
  • Previous experience with TBS

Team Dynamics/ Work Environment:

We work as a team, you will work closely with the entire Recovery and Collection Administration staff and our agencies that are working on our behalf. You will also be expected to interact and communicate with internal FNBO staff and external vendors (agencies). Your team depends on you, regular and predictable attendance is required.
