You will focus on standing up a business intelligence platform. The initial focus will be on identifying systems, aggregators, and a network of industry leading subcontract services to meet the needs of a very diverse group of companies that is FINTECH focused. You will be under the guidance of the Global Security Director. This is NOT a government cleared position, or a SCIF assignment.

Critical decisions are made every single day in an entrepreneurial business setting. We are seeking an experienced intelligence analyst to help senior leadership make informed decisions. With all the information available today, it takes a skilled analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. As an intelligence professional, you will use your specialized technical experience and your attention to detail to develop analysis and reporting to give our client the actionable intelligence and context they need. Preferred location would be within 30 minutes from the Longmont Colorado (Front Range) area. Remote work may be considered.

The successful candidate will be focused in three business categories: business intelligence, geopolitical landscaping, and deep dives into business related persons of interest.

  • Accurately and completely source all data used in intelligence, assessment and/or planning products.

  • Develop or recommend analytic approaches or solutions to problems and situations for which information is incomplete or for which no precedent exists.
  • Effectively collaborate via virtual teams with key stakeholders
  • Evaluate information for reliability, validity, and relevance.
  • Exercise judgment and leadership when policies are not well-defined.
  • Focus research efforts to meet senior leaderships decision-making needs.
  • Function effectively in a dynamic multi-disciplined environment.
  • Function in a collaborative environment, seeking continuous consultation with other analysts and experts—both internal and external to the organization—to leverage analytical and technical expertise.
  • Identify intelligence gaps and make recommendations for change/implementation of programs that benefit our business platforms
  • Recognize and mitigate cognitive biases which may affect analysis.
  • Recognize and mitigate deception in reporting and analysis.
  • Utilize multiple intelligence sources across all intelligence disciplines.
  • Identify aggregating platforms to feed research streams

Key Experience

  • The position requires a self-motivated candidate that is capable of working in an independent environment with minimal direction
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/and or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5+ years of intelligence gathering experience
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • The ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels
  • Strong understanding of applying intelligence analytics to a business platform
  • Experience creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate
