As a Developer Relations Specialist within the community team at IOHK you are responsible for working closely with the developer community and the global community of your assigned project(s).


  • Lead Developer Engagement to establish and maintain effective relationships with developer community relating to your project(s)
  • Responsible for creating a developer engagement plan to meet project objectives
  • Organise calls with the community in which the dev team will provide weekly updates
  • Supports activities of the product team
  • Keep community constantly updated though the relevant channels and maintain a strong presence in the community
  • Act as the interface between the core development and the community
  • Identifying content requirements to help inform and educate the community about the project
  • Identify, cultivate and seed relevant content that promotes IOHK’s projects
  • Add value by increasing awareness of the projects you are working on in your market providing press and PR opportunities
  • Lead, provide counsel and support to the community managers
  • Creating content- blogs, youtube, tweets etc
  • Manage social media platforms: Twitter, Discord, Youtube, reddit etc
  • Develop the PR Plan & the partner plan.

Education / Experience

  • Previous experience working in a Business Development role
  • Degree educated
  • Knowledge of Blockchain & Cryptocurrency desirable
