As Group Product Manager DJED at IOG you will oversee the DJED product line from end to end, from inception and ideation through to implementation. You will report into the Director of Product Management with regular milestone updates and progress on strategic objectives. You will be tasked to develop a strategy around IO’s role in your respective vertical, rationalize and elaborate a strong offering by capitalizing on existing products of our ecosystem and on emerging opportunities.

Duties

Strategy

• Tightly collaborate with product leadership to develop and drive strategy, global product vision and goals for DJED and stablecoin initiatives.
• Manage product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. Oversee the product roadmap for DJED
• Be a product advocate, subject matter expert and evangelist
• Be actively involved with the community, ecosystem stakeholders and partners
• Identify product objectives that contribute to the overall business objectives and strategy and ensure proper alignment across teams
• Participate in business development efforts, and co-develop a concrete and comprehensive commercial strategy for stablecoin
• Create strategic relationships with key actors of the ecosystem and drive efforts to position IOG as a leader
• Work with customers and partners to ensure that their needs are addressed in the roadmap and that they are kept apprised of new releases and updates

Be a Technical Product Leader

• Be a Technical Product leader and create strong and effective relationships with our engineering teams
• Provide technical guidance in evaluating applications systems or evaluating requests for proposals.
• Elaborate recurring technical benchmark of stablecoins products to orient our product decision and market positioning
• Leverage technical intelligence to identify emerging players, potential partners and support our build/buy strategy for stablecoins

Ensure product market-fit

• Conduct market research, market surveillance and customer visits to understand and specify requirements for target markets
• Collaborate with product marketing, product design and ecosystem teams to understand industry and community needs.
• Ensure successful launch and positioning of our offerings
• Analyze competitive landscape
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to explain how changes will impact the user community and support development of collateral and communications to the wider market
• Develop a detailed understanding of new developments and trends in the stablecoin landscape to drive product strategy and excellence.
• Attend and present at relevant conferences as required.
• Manage the collection, description, analysis and prioritization of requests for new product functionality from customers, prospects, partners, sales, and market-driven forces

Oversee product development and support operations

• Execute roadmap strategies and bring valuable, highly differentiated and elegantly designed capabilities to market
• Work with operations to gain awareness of potential defects and prioritize their resolution in the product release plan and roadmap
• Work with Product Owners, Program Management & Engineering to ensure that features are delivered in the right sequence and meet business expectations in terms of quality, function and schedule.
• Work with partners, engineering and design teams to deliver a captivating, reliable user experience.
• Work with other Product Managers on product roadmap integration points
• Provide support to the sales group on product selection, presentations and pricing strategy.
• Work in an Agile Product Development process. Take an active role in PI planning to create well thought-out and consumable user stories

• Be a single point of contact for coordination and decision making and coordinate Product Managers activities and priorities

Education / Experience

• A BS/MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
• Product Management certification is a plus (CPM, AIPMM)
• 5+ year of experience as a Product Manager
• Prior experience in Financial Services, DeFi, Crypto Exchanges or Stablecoins
• A background in distributed computing and experience with blockchain technologies.
• At least 1 year of business experience of blockchain or cryptocurrency technology.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and leading highly technical engineering teams.
• Experience implementing processes to define metrics and measure the success of products that are launched.
• Experience working with software development and marketing teams, preferably in fintech.
• Experience implementing processes to define metrics and measure the success of products that are launched.
• Experience leading highly technical engineering, design and business teams.
• Proven ability in developing productive relationships with a variety of levels and roles and managing user expectations effectively.

Location

IOG is a distributed organization and therefore this is a remote position, however we are looking for someone in either the USA, UK or Ireland at this time.
