業務内容

We are recruiting for 1 Counsel positon in the Strategic Legal Unit to deliver strategic legal advice to JERA’s business in Japan and supervise/instruct/lead other team members.
1. Strategic legal advice and support services in assigned areas of responsibility across JERA’s business in overseas. This includes power business, power/gas sales, renewables,O&M engineering, relevant regulatories issues, M&A/Sales, disputes.
2. Supervision and mentoring of the work of junior team members

求める経験・スキル

- Must be admitted/qualified to practice law in UK, US or Australia.
- Demonstrable ability to draft and review English legal documents.
- Excellent negotiation and project management skills, strong analytical and and legal research skills
- Native or excellent command of English
- Minimum 7+ years of PQE in private practice or corporate legal department (in total)
- Robust transactional and advisory experience in the Energy or related sector.
