About The Role
As a Global Benefits Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for varying degrees of support to local and expatriate attorneys and staff with respect to the administration of firm benefit programs in Europe and the Middle East. Other key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the local Human Resources teams to support the benefit programs in the EMEA offices, and ensuring that firm programs and resources are being appropriately communicated to build and sustain engagement.
- Acting as a point of contact for benefits plan questions from attorneys, paralegals and staff in the EMEA offices; educating participants by providing clear and complete information in accordance with group policy, terms, and conditions; using appropriate judgment to route complex questions and issues to appropriate resources and following-up to ensure the issue is resolved in a timely manner.
- Leading new hire orientation and off-boarding for local and expatriate attorneys and staff.
- Leading global benefits projects for the firm as it relates to supporting attorneys and staff in the firm’s EMEA offices; as a project leader, you will be expected to research and become an internal expert resource for new or enhanced benefit programs; projects may span areas of claims processes, leave of absence policies, or other new programs as they arise.
- Ensuring compliance and proper documentation with regard to all applicable laws and regulations; providing expertise related to the regulatory and legal requirements for employee benefit plans to employers and employees.
