About The Role
As an Attorney Recruitment & Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating all activities and processes involved in new hire and lateral associate onboarding and integration, Continuing Legal Education and Virginia Bar compliance, and supporting our local departments, practice groups, management committees, and affinity groups on programming and initiatives.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with the Manager of Attorney Development & Programs on the execution of all attorney development, training, and integration efforts in the office, including for fall and lateral associates and transfers
- Coordinating various events, receptions, and dinners for the office and local departments and practice groups
- Providing support for various local committees, including the Pro Bono Committee, Training and Career Enhancement (TACE), Mentoring, and local Affinity Groups
- Liaising with attorneys, management, and administrative staff as a contributing member of the greater team to expand, enrich and maintain office trainings and practice resources
- Liase with the VA Bar and assist with bar compliance and VA CLE.
- Corresponding with candidates to schedule interviews, and coordinating information for applicants and interviewers
- Coordinating logistics in connection with summer program and on campus interviewing
- Supporting and collaborating with the Recruiting Committee as needed
- Working with the team on special projects as needed

- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and quality assurance processes
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
- A Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in professional development or recruiting
