The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $155,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location. Discretionary bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance — and profit-sharing partnership contributions to 401(k) accounts may be given based on firm performance.

About The Role
As a Business Development Manager – Client Events, you will be responsible developing, implementing, and overseeing client event strategy for our markets within California, as well as providing event leadership and execution across all US markets. Other key responsibilities include:
- Working with key stakeholders to define event strategy that aligns with business development objectives
- Managing and coaching a team of event professionals responsible for designing and delivering best-in-class events
- Developing and refining event processes to maximize team’s efficiency and effectiveness and collaborate generously across business services
- Pro-actively managing the entire lifecycle of large-scale events, including planning meetings, checklists, budgets, expense processing, vendor management, onsite and virtual platform management, data management, post-event analysis
- Curating targeted invitations lists, working closely with stakeholders and BD market/practice leads
- Overseeing budgeting process and negotiating contracts to achieve maximum cost savings
- Continuously staying abreast of event best practices as well as market and industry trends

- A Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in event management
- Experience using event management and CRM systems
- Able to travel and provide onsite event management
- Superior organizational skills to manage multiple events at one time
