About The Role

As a Business Development Senior Specialist - US Sponsorships, you will be responsible for project managing the firm’s participation for a high volume of conference sponsorships based in the US. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Pro-actively managing the entire lifecycle of the sponsorship and the firm’s participation, including vetting the opportunity, negotiating benefits package, submitting deliverables, leading planning meetings, outlining checklists, budget tracking, expense processing, vendor management, data management, post-sponsorship analysis
  • Working with key stakeholders to define objectives and thoughtfully map out sponsorship participation accordingly
  • Evaluating sponsorship opportunities and advising on next steps
  • Negotiating and identifying favorable terms to achieve cost savings with vendors
  • Attending key sponsorships to evaluate BD opportunities and /or manage setup
  • Attending specified practice or industry group meetings to gain a working knowledge of subject matter basics
  • Evaluating and budget forecasting annual sponsorships for a specified practice or industry group
  • Continuously staying abreast of sponsorship team best practices as well as market and industry trends
About You

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in event or sponsorship management
  • Experience using event management and CRM systems
  • Superior negotiation and organizational skills to manage multiple sponsorships at one time
Compensation & Benefit

Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also receive a generous and competitive total compensation package. The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $130,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location. Discretionary bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance — and profit-sharing partnership contributions to 401(k) accounts may be given based on firm performance.
