About The Role

As a Client Account & Billing Liaison, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing all activities related to the billing process, and providing follow-up support to billing attorneys, billing secretaries, practice office staff and clients in all aspects related to billing. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and analyzing complex client billing; auditing invoices and ensuring all client guidelines, internal protocol and firm’s guidelines are followed and enforced
  • Acting as a liaison between billing attorney/secretarial staff, practice office billing staff, and clients’ staff by providing expert level subject matter support; responding to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner
  • Communicating with customers to ensure their request from the billing staff is being met; updating customers on status of tasks and/or projects; acting as a liaison with Global Services office (“GSO”) teams by providing local level logistical and technical support
  • Liaising with local Finance Committee member in support of Finance Committee objectives; ensuring preparation and participation in quarterly Finance Committee calls and facilitating any actionable next steps resulting from calls
  • Acting as a liaison with the eBilling team to ensure corrective action is in place for future submissions
About You

  • Demonstrate well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the Firm
  • Display the ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus
  • Possess thorough knowledge of bookkeeping procedures such as posting, balancing, debits and credits, and journal entries
And have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in general accounting practices
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in area involving billing processes and practices; working knowledge with 3E or Enterprise Billing system preferred.
Compensation & Benefits

Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also receive a generous and competitive total compensation package. The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $115,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location. Discretionary bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance — and profit-sharing partnership contributions to 401(k) accounts may be given based on firm performance.
