About The Role

As an Enterprise Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for the research, development, implementation, and maintenance of integrated software solutions which allow attorneys and staff to access firm resources from the office and remote locations. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Leading project teams to research, evaluate, design, implement and support complex enterprise applications; project teams may include members within Enterprise Applications, other groups within the Technology department (Global and/or Practice Office), other administrative groups within the firm, and 3rd party vendors or consultants
  • Liaising with stakeholders and leaders of other business units to ensure that their needs are understood and met
  • Designing software solutions and integrations for all facets of attorney’s work, which includes document generation, research, client billing, business development, and analysis and fact finding; acting as “Subject Matter Expert” regarding these solutions to provide expert analysis of needs required for successful implementations
  • Utilizing your technical creativity to identify and implement additional enhancements and new software solutions for our legal professionals and administrative departments
  • Installing, maintaining, and upgrading software for all users within the firm; making recommendations to your manager regarding setting of standards for firm software and desktop/notebook configurations
About You

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including Microsoft Windows Enterprise, Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
  • Possess knowledge and proficiency with administration and maintenance of relational databases used by supported applications.
  • Exhibit knowledge and proficiency with administration and maintenance of Linux (CentOS) servers in a virtualized environment.
And have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or appropriate work experience
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a technical implementation leadership role (Project manager, technical lead or architect) or a minimum of 5 years in an individual contributor role on large scale software projects
  • Experience with systems integrations, business process integrations and automation; software development experience with a strong understanding of logic, patterns and algorithms
Compensation & Benefits

Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also receive a generous and competitive total compensation package. The salary range for this role is $160,000 - $175,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location. Discretionary bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance — and profit-sharing partnership contributions to 401(k) accounts may be given based on firm performance.
