Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

About The Role

As a Business Development Specialist – US Client Events, you will be responsible for in-person and virtual client events & sponsorships throughout the US, with a primary focus on our West Coast and Austin market. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Working with key stakeholders to define event objectives and thoughtfully design event accordingly; post-event, you will be measuring success against outlined objectives and providing recommendations to extend the life-cycle of the event and capturing additional return on investment
  • Pro-actively managing the entire lifecycle of the event, including planning meetings, checklists, budgets, expense processing, vendor management, onsite and virtual platform management, data management, post-event analysis
  • Curating targeted invitations lists for each event, working closely with stakeholders and e-marketing team
  • Draft event communications and collateral that align with Latham branding
  • Developing and controlling budgets for each event; identifying, negotiating and achieving cost savings with venues and vendors
  • Continuously staying abreast of event best practices as well as market and industry trends
About You

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in event management
  • Experience using event management and CRM systems
  • Superior organizational skills to manage multiple events at one time
Compensation & Benefits

Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also receive a generous and competitive total compensation package. The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location. Discretionary bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance — and profit-sharing partnership contributions to 401(k) accounts may be given based on firm performance.
