About The Role

The Senior Specialist - US Sponsorships is an integral part of Latham’s Administration team. This role will be responsible for providing assistance to the Manager – US Sponsorships to run a successful sponsorships program in the US , while pro-actively leading the entire lifecycle of sponsorships and the firm’s participation, including vetting the opportunity, negotiating benefits package, submitting deliverables, leading planning meetings, outlining checklists, budget tracking, expense processing, vendor management, data management, and post-sponsorship analysis. This role will be located in either our New York , Washington, D.C. or Los Angeles office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Working with key stakeholders to define objectives and thoughtfully map out sponsorship participation accordingly
  • Evaluating sponsorship opportunities and advising on next steps
  • Negotiating and identifying favorable terms to achieve cost savings with vendors
  • Attending key sponsorships to evaluate opportunities and/or manage setup
  • Attending specified practice or industry group meetings to gain a working knowledge of subject matter basics


We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients and staff at all organizational levels of the firm
  • Display the ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus


And have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Preferably events qualification
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a business development or marketing role, preferably with professional services environment experience

Pay Range

USD $90,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
