About The Role

The Human Resources Services Specialist is an integral part of Latham’s Global Human Resources (“HR”) team. This role will be responsible for ensuring all transactional HR activities are completed and delivered in a timely manner, while completing service requests via ServiceNow ticketing system from open to closed status, ensuring all service level agreements and deadlines are met, and requests are actioned promptly. This role will be located in our Los Angeles office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to all transactional HR requests, escalating more complex queries appropriately within the department; acting as a first point of contact, providing HR information in line with best practices and standard operating procedures
  • Preparing standard contracts of employment and HR standardized documentation, such as employment verification letters, offer letters, and employee reference letters as required
  • Assisting the Kronos team in managing timekeeping activities for the practice offices including making adjustments to entries in Kronos (e.g. Makeup Time), answering routine questions about timekeeping and Kronos, and escalating complex questions to available resources as needed
  • Cross-referencing and recording data from the firm’s onboarding system, RedCarpet, to PeopleSoft in a timely manner
  • Collating and recording information for payroll within the appropriate timeframe


We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources functions
  • Display well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus


And have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree; a minimum of four (4) years of HR experience may be considered in lieu of a degree qualification
  • A minimum of two (2) years Human Resources experience

Pay Range

USD $57,000.00 - USD $65,000.00 /Yr.
