About The Role

The Global Manager of Procurement Services is an integral part of Latham’s Global Procurement team. This role will be responsible for acting in a strategic, multi-disciplined, and independent manner to manage procurement services, including asset management across the firm, while assisting with developing and implementing a global procurement strategy that aligns with the firm’s objectives and financial goals. This role will be located in either our Global Services Office in Los Angeles or our Manchester Office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Procurement:
    • Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate contracts, and establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
    • Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and initiatives
  • Supplier Management:
    • Managing relationships with key suppliers, collaborating with other stakeholders on performance evaluations, and addressing supplier related issues
    • Monitoring industry trends and best practices to continually improve supplier relationships
    • Supporting leadership to the firm’s supplier diversity program, improving metrics and benchmarks to measure progress and effectiveness
    • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to promote diversity and inclusion in the procurement process
  • Team Leadership:
    • Recruiting, training, and leading a team of procurement and asset management professionals globally
    • Providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to team members
    • Fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Reporting and Analytics:
    • Assisting with developing and maintaining Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking related to procurement, supplier diversity, and vendor risk management
    • Analyzing data to assist with strategic decision making and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Researching and providing continuous improvement strategies, managing and supporting change objectives
    • Developing and supervising his or her staff by performing a multitude of responsibilities, including but not limited to, hiring, assignment, training, evaluation, discipline, termination, and salary and bonus administration
    • Coordinating with other areas / departments of the firm where overlap exists to develop efficient procedures / policies to stream-line processes and satisfy various department needs


We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Possess strong knowledge of procurement software and asset management systems
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership skills (e.g., organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making) necessary for effective management
  • Display the ability to identify additional sources of supplies and services


And have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or other related field, preferably with a Master’s degree, professional certification, or extended education in a related field
  • A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible procurement experience
  • A minimum of three (3) years in a leadership role
  • Preferably experience in a professional services environment

Pay Range

USD $175,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.
