Systems Administrator

Desired technologies; cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Service [AWS], Microsoft Azure, Terraforming, Docker, Kubernetes, Google services.
Familiarity with content delivery network [CDN] systems such as Akamai, Cloudflare, Incapsula.
- Under limited supervision, configures, installs, maintains and upgrades computer systems hardware and software.
- Under limited supervision, administers and maintains security of operating systems.
- Under limited supervision, provides operational support for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment, such as servers, desktops, printers and storage devices.
- Performs recovery procedures, scheduling and backups, and monitors batch processes. Restores files or systems by designing, writing and implementing backup procedures.
- Involved with problem management (2nd line support).
- Supplies server solutions for internal and external clients.
- Enhancements of System Images.
- Under limited supervision, becomes involved with virtualization and automation.
- Monitors systems for Performance management and Capacity planning.
- Education; B.S. degree within an IT major; Information Systems Management, Computer Networks, Information Technology, computer Studies, or another equivalent IT related B.S. major.
- Experience: Bring your B.S. degree within an IT major and a willing to learn approach and we will train.
- Special Qualifications: Passion, integrity, problem solving skills, able to communicate complex information, actively seeking challenging assignments, capacity to learn complex systems/applications, team oriented, able to work after hours and weekends, follow established policies and procedures…
