Purpose and Impact Manager

The Purpose and Impact Manager will play a key role in leading the Purpose@Nasdaq programs and partnerships with our nonprofit and for-profit partners across the globe. This is a highly strategic and visible initiative across our global organization. You will additionally manage a specialist responsible for day-to-day coordination of volunteer opportunities serving nonprofit partners, including providing customer service and managing data/systems. In addition to developing and executing CSR programs, the role will be responsible for conducting periodic program reviews to assess outcomes and efficiency.
Functions:
- Work with VP of Purpose to establish and deliver KPI’s and strategy
- Manage CSR program communications for both internal and external audiences
- Manage CSR program analytics and KPIs to be delivered to executive audiences
- Analyze trends and identify new opportunities for non profit and for-profit partnerships across the globe.
- Act as the focal point for the Company's CSR initiatives geographically
- Embed Purpose at Nasdaq by deploying a structured program of actions, processes and employee behaviors.
- Design, develop and implement programs to support the organization’s corporate social responsibility and community engagement projects.
- Build relationships with community partners and key stakeholders
- Leverage existing channels to showcase purpose-led employee action and strategize new channels for employee engagement
- Work closely with Nasdaq Finance for monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and monitor spending to deliver results in line with planned objectives
- Stay abreast of relevant research and trends in the areas of focus and promoting best practices
- Promote employee volunteering initiatives in coordination with internal stakeholders
- Work with marketing and PR teams to drive internal engagement and promote storytelling
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant CSR experience and/or bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Effective leadership skills
- Demonstrated interest in the nonprofit sector
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage many moving projects at once
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to distill complex information into simple messages and concise communication materials, tailored for the audience.
- Interest and ability to work as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated proactive approach to problem solving
- Experience participating in or leading service-learning work
- Passion for community-based development
- Experience working with CSR/ volunteerism system such as CyberGrants, Bonterra, Your Cause
- Knowledge of the rules and regulations governing Charities, IPCs (Institutions of Public Character), and best practices for CSR will be an advantage.
- Strong expertise in managing relationships, networks, and teams that include a diverse group of people representative of the public and private sectors, community-based organizations, nonprofits, and civic leaders as well as program beneficiaries.
- Proven effectiveness in driving complex multi-stakeholder planning processes and cross-team projects to desired results.
- Ability to seek out, understand and incorporate feedback from the underserved communities we want to serve.

The base pay range for this role is $83,100 - $138,500. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth.
