As the Events Marketing Manager, you will work as part of the Investment Intelligence (II) Marketing team to help develop and deliver a gamut of events including: customer conferences, Executive networking events, events, advisory board meetings and most importantly orchestrate the usage of our marque events platform – MarketSite.

This role requires serious organization skills on how to create repeatable processes and procedures across a dynamic business unit to move from a reactive function to one that’s proactively anticipating the needs of the business and exceeding expectations.

We are looking for someone with creative vision who can turn an in-person or online event into an experience that supports building of customer and influencer communities.

You need to be data-driven in measuring the impact of our all events.

Responsibilities:

  • Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts.
  • Lead a small team of in-house and contract team members
  • Overseeing all Investment Intelligence events at Nasdaq Marketsite.
  • Provide repeatable processes to support internal stakeholders execute industry conferences
  • Handling budgeting and invoicing.
  • Liaising and contract negotiating with vendors
  • Negotiating sponsorship deals.
  • Handling logistics.
  • Updating senior management.
  • Managing branding at events to best represent Investment Intelligence
  • Developing event feedback surveys.
  • Obtaining permits.
  • Handling post-event reports, measuring impact and ROI
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, driving projects across teams and time zones, and managing vendors
  • Manage and fulfill all event logistics
  • Budget management across different regions

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of events leadership experience (in-person and digital)
  • Experience in working on large scale client events and executive programs
  • Experience creating “experiences”
  • Great contract negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Brand staging experience
  • Project management experience.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Highly Organized.
  • Multi-tasker.
  • Good time management.
  • Proficiency in various event software and apps
  • Expert interpersonal skills.
  • Risk management experience.

The base pay range for this role is $83,100 - $138,500. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
