Your day-to-day :
This role requires focus on:
- Collaborating with banks, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders to drive product discovery, involving ideation, brainstorming, and solutioning.
- Employ methods such as A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making.
- Serving as the advocate for customers, addressing their daily challenges. Partnering with Customer Support teams to resolve customer pain points. Collaborating cross-functionally with other product managers, engineering, payments operations, external partners, and internal teams to resolve complex live issues and enhance the customer experience.
- Coordinating with legal and compliance teams to ensure that our solutions adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Precisely defining problem statements, collaborating with finance and analytics teams to assess opportunities from a financial standpoint, and crafting product requirements, user stories, and epics.
- Conducting comprehensive discussions on product goals and requirements with engineering and other stakeholders to align them toward a common objective, while setting clear expectations regarding quality and target timelines.
- Working closely with engineering, architecture, and cross-domain stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. This entails resolving open issues, addressing product-related inquiries, and guiding engineering and development teams in delivering the right products within specified timelines.
- Collaborating with quality testing teams to create test plans and strategies to ensure the quality of product rollouts.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement within bank products, considering cost and processing quality aspects.
- Partnering with global cross-functional non-engineering teams, such as Go-To-Market, to successfully launch products in the market.
- Proactively monitoring bank platform metrics and other product-related key performance indicators (KPIs) to detect, comprehend, and report any changes in trends. Subsequently, engaging in problem-solving activities with analytics and other teams to pinpoint root causes.
- The ideal candidate should possess a B.E/B.Tech degree, with a preference for candidates holding an MBA degree.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in Product Management, with 3-5 years of professional experience in Payments, and a preference for experience in bank payments processing, in the areas of ACH and Wire payments.
- Demonstrated experience in executing various facets of product management, with a preference for those experienced in working with agile methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Highly desirable to have a solid understanding of technology.
- A strong emphasis on consumer focus and a track record of designing user experiences that are simple and intuitive.
- Proficiency in ideation and the ability to generate diverse solutions to complex problems.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to excel in fast-paced, high-growth, and uncertain environments.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
