Salesforce is looking for a top-tier, high-impact Director of Audience Strategy & Architecture to join our growing advertising team. This is a critical role to build our audience capability across media platforms and partners. This position will work in an integrated manner with our brand and demand generation teams, serving as the conduit between strategic planning and activation for defining, scaling, measuring, and optimizing audience segments across paid channels. You will own the orchestration of all paid media audiences to align our media plans with audience opportunities. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Adtech & Audience, you will be part of a cross functional team leading how we leverage our advertising stack across planning, buying and measurement.
Lead the strategy and implementation of our global audience architecture across all paid media platforms
Identify and build high value B2B addressable audiences leveraging 1P data and tools (e.g., CDP segments, pixel based audiences and direct integrations)
Manage a team of audience architects and platform specialists to implement audience-first strategy and execution
Own future-proofing our audience capabilities, ensuring we have a robust and privacy-first strategy to reach key audiences in a cookie-less future
Identify new opportunities and constantly innovate & test our audience capabilities
Partner with our planning and tactical media teams to identify priorities and design audience architecture based on strategic planning
Enable media and marketing teams on privacy landscape and optimal audience approaches
Own who and how we partner with 3P vendors to scale audience platform capabilities
Inform how we measure addressable and non-addressable audience tactics to ensure optimal activation and media experiences
10+ years of experience leading audiences and programmatic capabilities with an in-house or agency buying team
Expert in building custom audiences that leverage 1P, 2P and 3P data/insights
At least 5 years experience in test design and in-platform implementation
Strong understanding of advertising platforms and 3P data/audience partners
Expertise in DSPs/biddable platforms, 3P data/audience partners and the current state of addressable audiences
Ability to think strategically around targeting and customer journey orchestration, familiarity with integrating martech into audience activation
Strong analytical skills, particularly around measurement and experimentation
Strong communication/interpersonal skills
