The Senior Technical Architect is a customer-facing professional with a wide range of technical skills, extensive industry knowledge, and business acumen. As a Senior Technical Architect, you will be serving as a trusted advisor and Salesforce product and platform expert to the Customer’s largest, most complex enterprise customers. You play a crucial role in Salesforce Industries, working closely with top customers to help them maximize the benefits of Salesforce Industries' standard product and implement it as intended. Leveraging the deep expertise in Salesforce, Salesforce Industries, Technical and Enterprise Architecture, as well as Telco and Media Industries. You empower customers to make the most of the platform's out-of-the-box features, leading to optimal solutions.
Your role extends to being a trusted advisor to clients and a valuable mentor for the expanding internal team in the Telco and Media Industries Practice.
This is a focused team of industry experts whose mission is to work with our largest and most important customers and implementation partners to deliver solutions that delight the customers.
10+ years of enterprise architecture or consulting experience in the Telecom and/or Media, industries spanning large organizations and enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Salesforce Industries, Oracle, SAP, Siebel & Microsoft
4+ years of demonstrated experience implementing Salesforce solutions in the Telecom and/or Media
Deep functional and business knowledge of industries/verticals Telecom and Media including business capabilities, customer journeys and operations.
Hands-on technical solution implementation experience for a major software domain (e.g. CRM, ERP, HR) as well as coding experience in object oriented languages.
Experience with key areas of enterprise architecture including Cloud, Integration Technologies, Master Data Management, AWS, and CDNs.
Experience in the Implementation of Communication Industries OSS/ BSS solutions (CRM- Product Catalog, CPQ, Order Management and Billing) at operators in B2B and B2C domain.
Experience in the Media industry implementation in Product Modelling, CPQ, CLM, SLM, Ad Sales Management, and GAM Integrations,
Hand on experience with Salesforce Communication (Omnistudio, EPC, CPQ, ESM, Order Management and Digital Commerce) and Media Cloud modules (Omnistudio, Product Modelling, CPQ, CLM, SLM, Ad Sales Management, and GAM Integrations)
A detailed understanding of Web Services, Data Modeling, and Enterprise application integration concepts, including experience with enterprise integration tools (ESBs and/or ETL tools), and common integration design patterns with enterprise systems (e.g. CMS, ERP, HRIS, DWH/DM, SAP).
Experience of defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce Platform including coded solutions and integration to third-party solutions
Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via out-of-the-box products, technology, and integration. Strong application design skills combined with strong data, integration, and security architecture skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience.
Strong presentation skills. Able to effectively present and defend a point of view to a variety of audiences.
Accomplished speaker with the ability to evangelize best practices at various levels within a large organization, SIs, or a combination of the two.
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter across the following domains: front- and back-end solution architecture, web/mobile solutions, development and release management strategies, change management, and direct leadership in designing solutions that meet or exceed customer needs.
Understanding of DevOps and Release Management for large-scale transformation projects.
Resourceful and innovative thinker who can work through and solve problems
Hands-on experience with Agile Implementation Frameworks.
Hands-On experience in Salesforce Communication Cloud and Media Cloud - Omnistudio, EPC, CPQ, ESM, CLM, Digital Commerce, OM, and/or Ad Sales Management
Data modeling, Process modeling tools, and best practices
Application, design and development background
Integration Architecture, API’s, Integration Patterns and Enterprise Component architecture.
Platform Security, Identity and Access Management , Sharing and Transparency
Data Architecture and Management , large, mission-critical volumes.
Architectural Design Patterns
DevOps and Release management for large transformation projects
Salesforce/Apex, Apex Design Patterns, Triggers, Workflow Alerts and Actions, Process Builders, Visualforce, Lightning, LWC
Understanding of Mobile and Lightning Style frameworks and channels.
Project management tools and best practice
