We’re Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.

What is Slack?

Slack is the intelligent productivity platform that empowers everyone with no-code automation, makes search and knowledge sharing seamless, and keeps teams connected and engaged. And we’re on a mission to make people’s working lives simpler, more pleasant and more productive.

What you’ll do

As a Senior Manager of Product Communications, you will be the day-to-day lead on Slack’s product communications program, working closely with cross-functional counterparts in marketing, product, engineering, and other teams to understand Slack’s product roadmap, and market positioning to develop communication plans based on business goals. You will be on the frontlines protecting Slack from risks, avoiding crises, and managing criticisms.

We are looking for a communications professional who exemplifies Slack’s values of smart, hardworking, humble, and collaborative. You love to dig into the work and pay close attention to the details. You’ll be a self-starter who has a thirst for knowledge, seeks out information, and translates that into actionable plans.

To succeed, you’ll be proactive, organized, and be able to thrive in a matrixed organization. You’re adept at managing up, bringing people together, and communicating to stakeholders. You’re flexible in the face of change and rise to the challenge of tight deadlines. You’re creative and have a nose for what makes a good story. You’re authentic, empathetic, and enjoy having fun at work.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director of Communications.
