About this position:
The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team serves as a trusted adviser to the business to guide decision making through business partner support, innovative and influential analyses. We are looking for forward-thinking, results-oriented individuals that will succeed in a fast-paced environment and thrive in leading teams and improving processes that will allow the company to scale with growth! The Bookings Team is part of the Corporate Finance and Strategy group and owns the definition, policy, metrics, and insights of worldwide bookings.
You will lead this team that plays a pivotal role in handling all aspects of Bookings/AOV for the company, including leading the formation of new best-in-class topline metrics. This team will share insights and reporting on the overall growth and health of the business with senior executives. This analysis will help shape the Company narrative in Partnership with Investor Relations for quarterly earnings, the Board of Directors, and Investor Day.
In this role, you will also shape the future of Bookings policies and the future state of ACV and AOV reporting under Product Lotus.
This is a high visibility, high impact role where you will have direct contact with senior leadership on a regular basis. This role will report to the Vice President Corporate F&S Growth metrics and will lead a high performing team.
Responsibilities:
Own the creation, rollout and insights of new best-in-class topline metrics for the Company in partnership with Sales, CSG, F&S Data Operations and BT
Be the analytical and data insight engine to help Investor Relations shape company narrative through significant insight.
Build framework for broader Financial Business Partner engagement on top line performance.
Partner with Sales Ops, Deal Desk, Compensation, Revenue Recognition teams to develop company first policy for bookings treatment.
Lead the Finance & Strategy collaborate with Project Lotus to influence the future state of ACV & AOV reporting
Own the reporting logic in FACT_ACV from Org62, hierarchy maintenance, baseline validation issue log, M&A data integration and SELA resolution for the quarterly APM
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of bookings along with insights on business performance each month
Understand and maintain key reporting dimensions (e.g. region, product, customer size)
Anticipate changes in management reporting requirements driven by M&A and the evolving business needs
Lead curation of quarterly board of directors presentation decks
Work closely with Revenue Operations and M&A teams as well as other metrics owners (i.e. Attrition and revenue) to ensure the accuracy of metrics and compliance with policies.
Use 360 degree view and knowledge of business and management of key reporting datasets to drive business insights
Curate datasets and build dashboards for data points commonly requested by senior management
Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics or related relevant areas
12+ years of work experience in an analytically focused financial role
Excellent financial analysis, forecasting, modeling and planning skills
Management experience, able to serve as a mentor and coach to employees.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) with an ability to explain sophisticated issues in an understandable way
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cross functionally and help influence at all levels within the organization
Strong technical skills with experience with the following systems - SQL, Tableau, Salesforce, Excel
Experience and understanding of the SAAS business model
