Data Compliance Specialist (80-100%)

Become part of the Global Rights Management team at SIX and help us to achieve our ambitious growth targets. We are seeking an organized and motivated person who can work with minimum supervision and is capable of handling an exciting workload. You will be responsible for Data Compliance, supporting the implementation of Market and Reference data, supporting and advising on data implementation, product configuration and entitlement set-up. You will support Data Acquisition and Product Management with intellectual property rights management. Taking responsibility for accurate traceability of intellectual property rights, from data intake through the processing chain to customer delivery.You bring a good knowledge of financial services, intellectual property rights, and some affinity and interest for technical infrastructure. With strong MS Excel, SQL know-how, and analytical skills, you are a self-disciplined, pragmatic and hand on person.

What You Will Do

  • analyze Data Suppliers’ data product packages and license agreements on intellectual property rights
  • communicate and negotiate with Data Suppliers on intellectual property rights management
  • review of changes in data processing for impact on intellectual property rights
  • take responsibility and guide Business Analysts, Development, and Data Acquisition Operations on data implementation
  • participate in projects as a subject matter expert by providing internal consulting, on intellectual property rights management and entitlement capabilities

What You Bring

  • masters or bachelor’s degree with working knowledge of topics such as market data, reference data, data vendors, and information management
  • minimum of 5-7 years' experience within financial services, at least 3 of which working in a market data team which demonstrates strong knowledge of market data suppliers and vendors
  • high commitment to qualitative, reliable, structured and independent working methods
  • demonstrate effective technical skills in order to bridge the business and technical requirements of role
  • customer focus and good communication skills with German, French and/or Spanish being an additional asset
