Data Intake Business Analyst

London | working from home up to 60% | Reference 4722

This role is part of an international team based in our London office and sits within our global Content & Product teams. We are a fun and dynamic team and we are looking for a financial data expert with business analysis experience to drive the successful integration and dissemination of our data.

What You Will Do

  • identify business needs, analyze and conceptualize them, in order to allow better informed business decisions and to provide strong guidance for software development
  • support the correct and consistent integration of financial data from multiple sources into our database; including real-time, intraday and end-of-day delivery of Market and Reference Data
  • analyze the impact of required changes for our central host database as well as for client products and define the necessary adjustments for respective data structures and rule sets in order to meet client needs
  • act as a conduit between the Business, Operations and Technology teams for the operational roll-outs
  • prepare client information on changes and assist project management during the project planning and delivery phase
  • working in agile, dynamic and international environment

What You Bring

  • bachelor’s degree or higher education degree in any discipline, minimum of 2 years of working experience in Financial Services in a similar role. An experience of data feed/business analyst in the financial data vendor industry would be decisive.
  • in-depth knowledge of a broad range of instruments and securities with a solid knowledge of Reference- and Market Data
  • sound knowledge and experience with business analysis tools for example: use case model / Agile development projects / applying lean methods using Agile HIVE
  • analytical, technical, problem-solving and excellent communication skills (written and verbal), team player who has a strong ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
  • fluency in English
