System Engineer (80-100%)

Are you passionate about finance and Linux? Do you want to work in an agile, self-organized environment where collaboration, trust, and innovation are paramount? We are looking for a System Engineer (80-100%) to join our team. You will work in a diverse environment in close cooperation with various business units, and both internal and external clients. This role is based in Zürich.

What You Will Do

  • design and engineer the internal IT landscape with special focus on RHEL
  • act as third level support in the Linux team
  • work closely together with internal customers to ensure proper operations and further development
  • assist in various planning activities related to DR, Security updates
  • working as part of an international team located in Zürich, Madrid and Paris

What You Bring

  • strong experience in Linux as well as in using tools such as RHEL, Ansible Automation Platform, Satellite Server
  • independent and proactive working method with a high-quality standard
  • experience working in Financial sector would be a plus
  • readiness to sometimes work outside the normal working hours
  • very good verbal and written English (and some German, Spanish or French as an advantage)
