Senior Credit Risk Specialist - Auto Risk Strategic Analytics

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Specialist to join the Auto Risk Strategic Analytics team.
In this role, you will:
· Conduct competitive assessments and economic and industry research to develop insights into Wells Fargo’s relative market position
· Develop innovative concepts, resources, technologies, processes, and tools for gathering of comprehensive information and effectively communicate the key, relevant, actionable themes in a concise manner for senior leadership.
· Lead and partner with cross-functional teams to execute on Risk Measurement monitoring and reporting requirements.
· Cultivate broad networks to enhance our scope of competitive intel and drive innovative thought leadership.
· Create executive level presentations, gathering complex data and extensive information and crafting an effective, crisp story with impactful visualizations for senior leader consumption.
· Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers and serve as an experienced advisor to leadership.
· Identify, gather, and analyze appropriate data and provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership to inform strategic recommendations.
· Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Required Qualifications, US:
· 4+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
· Results-oriented, highly analytical, strategic problem-solving skills with strong business judgment and ability to analyze and synthesize complex information, working in situations where data may be absent or ambiguous and creative approaches are required.
· Expert communication and storytelling skills.
· Experience with auto lending.
· Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment, build effective business partnerships with all levels, and facilitate / lead discussions that result in consensus and commitment.
· Credit policy experience, and strong analytic acumen.
· Demonstrated expert PowerPoint and Excel skills.
· Intermediate knowledge of SAS and SQL.
· Strong collaboration skills – demonstrated ability to successfully manage strategic issues with business partners across industry.
· Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Job Expectations:
· Ability to work at one of the approved locations in the job posting. Willingness to comply with our hybrid work model: working from a Wells Fargo facility at least three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely two days a week.
