In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications

10 + years of experience in Banking Technology with hands on experience of:

  • Experience in the Full stack development using Angular JS, jQuery, CSS, Bootstrap and Spring Boot
  • Experience in Microservices development
  • Experience in developing API's using Java
  • Implement API solutions (APIGEE preferred) to include Onboard API Clients, API proxies, rate limiting, security, analytics etc.
  • Agile Methodology
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment using GIT, Jenkins, JIRA

Technical Skills

  • Core JAVA
  • Angular JS, CSS, Spring Boot
  • Relational DB Preferably Oracle
  • Experience with Maven, GIT, Gradle, AppDynamics, Splunk etc. DevOps tools.

Desired Qualifications

  • Google APIGEE
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • Apache Integration Frameworks (Camel/Flink/Spark)
  • Cloud computing experience
  • Regulatory Project Experience in Banking Domains

Job Expectations:

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Adhere to team standards, processes, workflows and schedules.
  • Provides the strategy and design for projects associated within technology domain including, upgrades and deployments.
  • Collaborate with other technology teams and architects to define and develop scalable design solutions.
  • Design and Implement API Solutions using microservices strategy
  • Implement resilient and secure code solutions to enhance customer journey experiences and digital capabilities to automate,
  • Provide training and guidance to less experienced developers
  • Perform code reviews to ensure requested functionality is implemented to meet both functional and performance expectations
  • Verify program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, unit testing and debugging of programs
  • Participate in performance/load tests
  • Develop new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides
  • Perform security analysis and participate/drive security reviews.
  • Ability to take ownership and delivery as per the requirements, Own & execute maintenance of solution delivered
  • Ensure a positive experience by providing status updates and information on the deliveries on timely manner.
