About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer for the support of Fraud and Claims applications built on Pega. In this role the candidate will play a critical in driving the stability and increased observability of the entire platform suite. This role is looking for a candidate that can drive the technical execution and delivery of the strategic enterprise logging product and its integration with the rest of the Observability ecosystem for Fraud and Claim applications. As part of this role, the candidate will need to design and implement end to end solutions to enable the multiple domains of logging, monitoring, observability, alarming to ensure high availability of the applications.
This role requires a mix of Software & Infrastructure engineering skills and will work closely with Product to support our Agile methodology.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications
- Participate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructure
- Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals
- Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future
- Design, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendors
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
- Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirements
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
- Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with customer and vendor
Required Qualifications, US:
- 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of systems support analyst experience
- 3+ years of experience working in managed services
- 2+ years of Linux administration and configuration
- 2+ years of PL/SQL experience
- 2+ years of experience with various platform operation tools and technologies like Splunk/AppDynamics/JIRA/Prometheus/Elastic APM/Grafana or similar tools.
- 2+ years of experience developing in an agile methodology
- Hands-on experience with one or more OS and Platform: Azure, GCP, PCF, Kubernetes, Linux, CentOS + RHEL Windows
- Hands-on experience with one or more software development languages: Python, SQL, XML, JSON, REST
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience developing in an agile methodology
- Hands-on experience with one or more CI/CD automation tools: Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, Artifactory

Pay Range
$133,300.00 - $237,100.00 AnnualBenefits
