In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • About the Role:

  • This is a newly created role with the purpose to conceptualize and ensure emulation of global best practices for the WFIP risk and governance framework.
  • S/he will enable the balance between risk and reward with an aim to meet the required business KPIs.
  • The incumbent will be responsible for proactive governance and management to identify, evaluate, mitigate and monitor the company’s operational and process risk.
  • Risk Strategy

  • Responsible for establishing and strengthening risk framework
  • Support leadership in ensuring risks are mitigated to the desired level.
  • Develop risk maps and formulate strategic action plans to help minimize, manage, and mitigate primary risks and then monitor the progress of these efforts.
  • Responsible to mitigate all non-financial risk types
  • Risk analysis and assessment

  • Responsible for identification and assessment of business specific risks
  • Coordinate programs designed to minimize operational risk
  • Prepare and maintain internal and external data gathering for risk analysis and reporting.
  • Generate risk & governance reports, as applicable, and share with concerned stakeholders.
  • Strengthen Governance and Control

  • Implement governance and compliance monitoring
  • Undertake policy reviews to ensure compliance
  • Schedule regular assessments and testing of effectiveness and efficiency of controls
  • Stakeholder and Team Management

  • Partner with Audit, Compliance, Risk, and other functions to continuously identify and address areas requiring attention
  • Present recommendations to Leadership group detailing the benefits and associated risks.
  • Collaborate with Business stakeholders to proactively manage non-financial risks
  • Build relations with various key external and internal stakeholders, across levels and functions.
  • The role holder will be a dynamic risk leader as the custodian of the organization’s health. S/he should therefore bring 15-20+ years of experience in Risk & Control, Audit, etc. with a stint in a financial services industry, preferably from a similar ecosystem.
