About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Selection Consultant to join the Selection & Assessment (S&A) team. The S&A team provides expert consultation and best-in-class tools and processes to help Managers and Recruiters select high-quality talent as easily as possible while helping Wells Fargo mitigate risk in the hiring process. You will have an opportunity to work with Talent Acquisition (TA), Human Resources (HR), and business leaders across the enterprise to create and validate a variety of selection tools and lead large-scale selection initiatives, including the company’s online assessment program.
In this role, you will:
Lead large-scale, global, cross-functional projects to develop and validate selection tools for specific business groups using job analysis and/or competency modeling.
Identify, develop, validate and implement selection tools and processes to help ensure Wells Fargo is selecting the highest quality and diverse talent.
Participate in development of long-term strategy for the global selection and assessment program inclusive of consulting and developing processes, tools and reporting.
Support internal stakeholders, including leaders, recruiters, and hiring managers, by aligning selection and assessment tool implementation strategy with business needs and serving as an expert resource for questions.
Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans.
Determine appropriate strategies and actions to meet moderate to high complex deliverables of multiple business groups.
Interpret procedures and processes and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity, and risk.
Collaborate with and influence functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business.
Lead projects, teams, and service as a mentor to S&A colleagues.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Selection experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience managing and implementing large scale selection and assessment projects
Experience with job analysis, competency model development, test development, validation, and adverse impact analyses
Experience consulting on selection and assessment policies and best practices with peers, leaders, and business partners
Experience with leading and managing vendor provided services
Experience implementing or managing Global assessment projects
Knowledge and understanding of state and federal employment laws, AA/EEO, recruiting and hiring policies, and international employment laws
Experience reviewing, interpreting, and evaluating statistical analyses and technical documentation related to assessment tools
Experience working in a consulting firm offering selection and assessment services
Experience working in a highly regulated Fortune 50 corporation
Advanced degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resource management or related field.
