Wells Fargo is seeking an Intern Analyst in Trust Client & Advisor Services for the summer of 2024 as part of Wealth and Investment Management. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist assigned Trust Officers and Specialists on estates, trusts, custodians, guardianships, agencies, etc. as it relates to state and gift tax administration, intergenerational wealth transfer and fiduciary services
  • Work closely with Trust Officers and Specialists to ensure the investment strategy, goals, objectives, risk tolerance, tax implications and customized benchmarks are met and exceeded
  • Learn about the differences between the Trust Services office and Front Office through rotations and projects in each environment
  • Engage with leaders at all levels of the organization including senior management
  • Provide excellent customer service to all areas of support, including colleagues and clients as necessary
  • Perform historical and/or analytical research to respond to requests or assignments
  • Understand processes and work flows as they pertain to various administrative tasks
  • Bring closure to issues, questions and requests. Solve problems independently or with the assistance of your colleagues
  • Consistently learn new systems, applications, processes and techniques
  • Participate in formal internship program and workshops for low complexity initiatives within Internship Program
  • Review various assignments to become familiar with policies and procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained, related to low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverable
  • Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of estate, trust, or fiduciary administration
  • Interest in Trust/Fiduciary Administration or related field
  • Enrolled in coursework in Trust and Wealth Management
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Solid decision making skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Leadership experience
  • Undergraduate actively enrolled in an accredited four-year Trust Degree program with a graduation date range of Dec 2024 – May 2026

Salary range is determined by the location of the job
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule. This is a Flexible position therefore not eligible for benefits.

NC-Winston Salem: 15.00-30.00 USD Hourly

NV-Las Vegas: 15.00-30.00 USD Hourly

PA-Philadelphia: 15.00-30.00 USD Hourly

TX-Austin: 15.00-30.00 USD Hourly

CA-Long Beach: 15.00-30.00 USD Hourly
MN-Minneapolis: 15.00-30.00 USD Hourly
