Department Overview:
Identity and Access Management's (IAM) vision is to provide Wells Fargo world leading cyber security risk management. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, Information & Cyber Security (ICS) protects Wells Fargo’s infrastructure, corporate data, and customer assets, and ensures alignment with applicable regulations and laws. ICS is part of Wells Fargo's Technology organization and is led by the Chief Information Security Officer.

About Role:

Information Security Engineer on the iSeries Security Engineering team to work closely with internal business partners, internal technology teams, and external vendors to maintain and enhance security across the IBM i platform. In this position engineer will also be responsible for understanding the requirements and provide the best suitable solutions with respect to IBM i Platform. This position will be responsible for sustainability, automation needs, and backlog reductions of the midrange business partner requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for iSeries batch security application that processes data feeds, does reporting, and enforces control requirements using Report Program Generator and Control Language.
  • Responsible for iSeries Security Engineering which provides security engineering solutions for the iSeries i5/OS platform
  • Responsible for consulting services to other LOBs on Security concerns related to iSeries platform.
  • Responsible for iSeries Security Automation Projects
  • Responsible for infrastructure BCP Quarterly/Annual simulation exercise.
  • Responsible for implementing change requests, work orders and problem tickets for non-production environment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of information security applications and systems experience
  • 7+ years of information security experience on IBM i Platform.
  • 7+ years of experience in IBM i CL(Control Language)
  • 5+ years of experience in Report Program Generator (RPG)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Good negotiation, conflict resolution and decision-making skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization

Demonstrated ability to document procedures for other engineers to follow

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to propose creative technical solutions in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Kanban methodologies
  • Knowledge of information security concepts. Deep working knowledge of IAM tools.
