In this role, you will:
- Perform a variety of operational tasks for routine and medium complex institutional trades that require general knowledge of unit functions and systems
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve process specific goals
- Review time sensitive document
- Support audit requirements within the process
- Address compliance and corporate governance issues for the department
- Interact with internal and external customers as per prescribed process or procedure

- Execute tasks and perform activities as per direction from leaders and understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications, US:
- 2+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

- Experience in Institutional Investment Operations, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
University degree in Commerce or related discipline.
- Experience of 12+ years in capital markets preferably leading & managing Pre-Settlements/Settlements team. 1-3 years of people management experience.
- Sound Knowledge of process across Pre-Settlements/Settlements is a must
- Strong Analytical skills.
- Fluency in English.
Job Expectations:
- Directly manages Pre-Matching/Trade Support process within Securities Operations.
- Strong knowledge in Pre-Settlements is a must.
- Go getter attitude, Meticulous, persistent and determined on follow-ups with counterparties on outstanding claims.
- Demonstrates high degree of reliability, integrity and trustworthiness in all areas.
- Fosters team work and sustains team morale & motivation
- Proactive in identifying potential issues, handling the same and escalating issues to Senior management in a timely manner
- Plan, execute and be responsible for people, process and other business goals.
- Innovates & supports in process expansion and conducts new hire trainings.
- Submits weekly and monthly metrics to the internal metrics tem and LOB on a monthly basis.
- Conducts performance reviews and monitors monthly completion of reviews.
- Displays flexibility in working in shifts to cover all sub processes.
- Participates by leading & driving Organization wide initiatives within CIB Level.
- Initiates process & quality improvement ideas and is responsible to take them to closure.
- Develops and promotes operational excellence culture within Broker Dealer Services.
- Drives risk culture within the function and proactively identifies control opportunities.
- Develops metrics that helps measure growth & performance of the department.
- Develops domain expertise within teams.
- Develop, track and report cross training coverage across sub teams in Securities Operations
