About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance Analyst for the Stress Testing & RRP Team within Corporate FP&A. The team is responsible for leading, directing and ensuring completion of financial forecasts that accompany the firm-wide stress testing, capital planning, and recovery & resolution planning exercises. In this role, you will:
o Participate in functions related to financial forecasting, financial research, and reporting
o Perform analysis of key metrics, as well as other financial consulting related to business performance, operating and strategic reviews
o Present recommendations for resolving all aspects of delivering key forecasting projections as well as financial reporting to support bi-annual stress testing, quarterly legal entity forecasting, and annual Recovery and Resolution plan forecasting
o Execute models and end-user computing tools
o Identify opportunities for process improvements within the scope of responsibilities
o Research moderate to complex financial data in support of management decision-making for the enterprise
o Create and communicate various activities such as product pricing, product, and portfolio performance
o Exercise independent judgment to guide key metrics forecasting, closing data and validation
o Develop expertise on reporting that meets brand standards and internal control standards
o Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
o 2+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
o Knowledge of Wells Fargo's balance sheet/product offerings
o Experience with forecasting tools Essbase/Dodeca
o Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
o Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx
o CPA, CFA, MBA
o Passion to learn new skills including new software/tools
o Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
o Solid critical thinking skills
o Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
o Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
o Experience creating narrative documentation for regulatory submissions
o Experience understanding regulatory guidance and translating into deliverables
o Knowledge and understanding of quarterly baseline forecasting, stress testing, capital planning, recovery and resolution planning
