You have a refined, progressive design aesthetic and are a hands-on visual and UI designer who is as comfortable tackling blank-sheet problems as you are collaborating with others to finesse design details. • Coach and mentor designers and help cultivate an environment where they can grow, learn, and thrive

  • Lead our designers to think across all dimensions of a design system, from crafting the components to understanding the needs and workflow of our design partners to crafting guidance that streamlines the complexities of a growing system for our design, content, and development partners

  • Advocate across product areas for the power and benefits of the Fusion Design System while listening to feedback and consistently exploring ways to transform that feedback into continuous improvement

  • Be a part of a horizontal team responsible for many aspects of product design, from visual creative, illustrations and icons, motion, guidance and documentation and design tools

  • Understands the complexities of designing for systems and can approach abstract design problems with real-world outcomes in mind

  • Knows how to execute against strategies in a complex ecosystem and can balance the art and science of a creating a well-crafted experience

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to shape and drive work independently

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can adapt and adjust to real-time shifts in priorities and workflow

  • Proactive problem solver with a bias toward execution and a strong sense of urgency (demonstrated track record of getting things done, while building bridges, despite the obstacles in their way)

  • Has the ability to consistently articulate a strong design rationale—storytelling skills that compel stakeholders

  • Highly inclusive and collaborative—knows when to rally their peers for collaboration but is comfortable going it alone when needed

  • Actively contributes to improving design outcomes for design, product, content, and development partners
