In this role, you will:

  • Provide oversight and monitoring of the Complaint Quality Assurance and Third-Party requirements of the Complaints Management Policy

  • Independently oversee and challenge third party (TP) and quality assurance (QA) complaint processes by monitoring the capture, resolution, and root cause of third-party complaints, and QA processes supporting them

  • Challenge business leaders when complaints-related thresholds and metric breach established thresholds and risk measurement program boundaries

  • Develop, oversee, and provide independent credible challenge to TP and QA standards with subject matter expertise

  • Drive the development and execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual routines for front line QA and TP complaints monitoring (including, but not limited to, monitoring reports, reviewing complaints and third-party contracts, and developing commentary for executive-level reporting)

  • Independently report on Issues and risks associated with third-party complaint management and front-line QA processes

  • Mature the QA and TP monitoring routines to include metrics and KPIs that provide a perspective on program health and risk identification

  • Implement enhancements to support QA and TP monitoring growth, including the development and implementation of new governance routines

  • Maintain compliance risk expertise and consulting for projects and initiatives with moderate to high risk, over multiple business lines

  • Establish, implement and maintain risk standards and programs to drive compliance with federal, state, agency, legal and regulatory and Corporate Policy requirements

  • Provide direction to the business on developing corrective action plans and effectively managing regulatory change

  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

  • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives

  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Work with complex business units, rules and regulations on moderate to high risk compliance matters

  • Interface with Audit, Legal, external agencies, and regulatory bodies on risk related topics


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5+ years of Compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Subject matter expertise in Complaints Management Policy and related governing documents

  • Experience with Complaints Management data and reporting

  • Experience with Independent Risk Management Programs including Operational Risk or Compliance within the financial services industry

  • Experience communicating in both written and verbal formats with management

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • Ability to work across multiple lines of business leading large scale initiatives

  • Experience maintaining or supporting Enterprise Policies

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

  • An active professional risk designation such as a Certified Risk Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certificate in Operational Risk Management (ABA), Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP), or Certificate in Risk Management (CRMA)


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule
